Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County, MD’s Home Repair Program is an extension of our mission to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. Habitat’s Home Repair Program partners with local homeowners who need assistance completing necessary repairs or modifications to their homes. Each project is unique to the needs of the homeowner and helps families maintain and stay safe in their own homes by addressing necessary health, safety, and accessibility modifications.

Repairs are based on level or priority of need.
We are actively accepting applications! The Habitat Home Repair Program provides repairs and/or modifications for individuals to remain safely in their homes. These services are offered at no cost to the homeowner.
Our work focuses on addressing unsafe conditions in the home, such as trip hazards, leaks, and roofing concerns, as well as installing grab bars or other accessibility and mobility modifications. Cosmetic repairs and/or requests are not accepted.
Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County is able to provide this program through grants, municipal support and private donations. Our goal is to serve as many homeowners in the community as possible while funding is available.
