On January 25, 2025, our community came together to honor the memory of Rosalynn and President Carter and their extraordinary commitment to Habitat for Humanity. A memorial door was installed at the Habitat ReStore, 917 N. East Street in Frederick, where community members shared messages remembering their lives and service.
The door remains on display at the ReStore, and we invite visitors to stop by during business hours — Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. — to read the messages left by our community and reflect on the lasting impact of President and Mrs. Carter’s dedication to building homes, communities and hope.
