Partner Families

 

 

Families that meet the home ownership criteria become “partner” families.

Completing sweat equity is a condition of home ownership. Habitat negotiates sweat equity hours with the family when qualified. Hours range depending on the family size. Extended family members and friends can contribute up to 40% of the sweat equity hours.

The Family Support Committee helps the family with home ownership issues before and after settlement by providing training opportunities and follow-up.
