FREDERICK, Md. -- Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County, MD recently introduced
their 2003-2004 Board of Directors at a meeting. Pictured below are 15 of the 24 board
members plus Dee Danmeyer, the executive director.

Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County, MD was incorporated in 1993 under the
leadership of Church Women United and is one of 2,100 affiliates of Habitat
for Humanity International. Habitat has built more than 150,000 houses around
the world, providing more than 750,000 people within 3,000 communities with safe,
decent, affordable shelter. Within Frederick County, the local affiliate has built
and/or renovated 19 homes since 1995. Currently, the 20th home is under con-
struction in Brunswick, MD by a group of 40 United Methodist Churches; and the
21st home is being built on B&O Avenue near the MARC Train Station in Frederick.
